Parental Rights: 
"Parents shall be encouraged to actively participate in creating and implementing educational programs for their children. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, a board of trustees, administrator, educator or other person may not limit parental rights." -Texas Education Code

  • Our LISD K-12 Public Education classrooms and campuses should be solely focused on the basics of academic rigor. 

  • Parents have the right and the responsibility to teach their family values to their children based on their own traditions and belief systems. 

  • The district has a responsibility to ensure a safe neutral teaching environment using age-appropriate materials without political or ideological bias as stated in Senate Bill 3
